Mongolia has 2 humped Bactrian
camels it is a domesticated animal of herders. Its wool coat, which is shed in
the summer, acts as an insulator in the winter. There are more than 250,000
camels in Mongolia . Usually South Gobi , Middle Gobi, Gobi-Altai, Bayankhongor
provinces. South Gobi province has a first place in Mongolian for the number of
camels. Camel is almost an exclusive means of transportation across the Gobi
desert and vast steppe. An adult male camel can give up to 18 kg of wool per
year. Unlike other livestock, a camel can continuously travel for 30 days
without drinking a drop of water.
